Screenverse is honoring Women’s History Month by celebrating the many women revolutionizing programmatic digital out-of-home advertising within our team of astronauts. From engineering and technology to programmatic partnerships and sales, we’re proud to have a powerhouse team of women contributing to the growth and success of our media networks, agency and brand clients, and the overall out-of-home (OOH) industry.

Closing the Gender Gap in Ad Tech

Historically, the ad tech industry has been predominantly led by men in executive and leadership roles. Screenverse, like many other companies in the industry, is working to change the narrative by recognizing, empowering, and uplifting female talent.

It’s estimated that women represent 36% of the workplace in the OOH industry, compared to 69.5% of women in the advertising and marketing space.

The out-of-home advertising industry boasts many influential women in leadership and C-suite roles—from Anna Bager, President and CEO of the Out-of-Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA), to Screenverse media partners like Nicollete Leonardis, President and Co-Founder of Vertical Impression, to the countless women leading teams across agencies, supply-side platforms (SSP) and demand-side platforms (DSP).

While we celebrate their talent and achievements, we recognize the need for greater efforts to empower women and expand their representation in senior leadership and executive positions.

We’re proud to share that 42% of our employee base (47 global employees) are women, and 17% of the company has women in leadership, management, and executive roles.

Building a Team of Innovators

If there’s one thing we don’t shy away from, it’s identifying, recruiting, and retaining the best of the best. Over the last five years, Screenverse has welcomed seasoned industry veterans and innovative newcomers to our ever-growing global team.

Our team is comprised of women who have done it all—from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to working with DOOH businesses like Vistar Media, Volta (now Shell Recharge), and Quotient (now Neptune Retail Solutions). The collective knowledge and expertise they share is inspiring and serve as the driving force behind our growth at Screenverse.

Recognizing Talented Leaders

In April of 2024, we secured a $10.5 million investment from Volition Capital, fueling our continued growth and innovation with a key focus on enhancing our proprietary technology suite. With this funding, we were able to invest in a diverse, talented cohort of astronauts (20+ new hires) from all over the world.

Three key individuals rose to the occasion to lead our growing team across multiple departments. We promoted three women to C-Suite and leadership roles (Jess Silva, Chief Operations Officer; Laura Yepez, VP of People Operations; and Montana Accavallo, VP of Client Success and Programmatic Partnerships).

Other notable accomplishments from the women at Screenverse:

  • Morgan Wolford was promoted to Associate Director, Supply Marketing
  • Daniella Skific was promoted to Senior Sales Director, Midwest Market
  • Junko Yoshimaru was promoted to Senior Data Manager
  • Madelin Gomez was promoted to Associate Director, Brand Marketing
  • Karen Brand was promoted to Senior QA Data Analyst
  • Nery Merchant was promoted to Director of Accounting
